Why Patriot Pawz
Dog training is about more than teaching commands.
It's about communication, understanding, confidence, and trust — the things that turn a dog and an owner into a team.
Individualized training
Temperament, history, environment, handler ability, and goals all shape how a dog learns. Your plan is built around your dog — not a template.
Real-world training
Skills that only work in a quiet training space aren't finished. We build reliability in the places you actually take your dog.
Owner education
You'll understand what your dog is learning, why we're doing it, and how to keep the training going long after lessons end.
Every dog is different. Their training should be too.
A confident young lab and an anxious rescue don't need the same plan. Neither do two dogs with the same behavior for completely different reasons. We start by understanding the dog in front of us, then choose the tools and techniques that fit that dog, that handler, that environment, and those goals.

The story
Meet Patriot Pawz
Patriot Pawz K9 Training was founded by a veteran whose own journey with dogs began personally, not professionally. Training a service dog of their own changed how they understood the relationship between a dog and their handler — and it turned into a new sense of purpose.
That experience is the reason Patriot Pawz is built around the owner as much as the dog. The people who love these dogs deserve to understand them.
Our mission
"We don't just teach dogs what to do—we teach owners how to communicate with their dogs, understand their behavior, and confidently continue their training in everyday life."
What clients say
In their words
My “grand-dog” LOVES going to Patriot Pawz! She gives full body wags before even getting out of the car. There’s obviously a lot of care and love going on while she’s there.
They are great with dogs, they helped me and my wife with our 2 stubborn dogs who did not like to listen to commands. Instead of taking our dogs for multiple days/weeks they set up times that worked for both of us and came to our house to train, it was very convenient for us and just overall great! They also walked us through multiple tips and tricks as well that we could continue to do in between lessons. 100% recommend Patriot Pawz K9 Training LLC!!
They are so good with all kinds of dogs! They will love your dog and take the very best care of them while they’re in their hands. Definitely recommend!
Let's start with an evaluation
Every training plan begins with an evaluation where we discuss your dog's history, assess current skills and challenges as appropriate, and identify your goals. From there, we'll recommend a training plan tailored to your dog, your household, and your budget.
